LAUNCH OF THE STRATEGIC PLAN OF THE NEW AE KNOWLEDGE HUB IN WALES#

The new Cardiff Knowledge Hub has announced the publication of its first Strategic Plan (pdf) (2016-2019). It has also given a fresh look to its website.

The Hub, hosted at Cardiff University in Wales, will showcase outstanding research and scholarship, offer an exciting programme of events, and play a major role in providing high-quality scientific advice for European policymaking as part of a new project funded under the Horizon 2020 programme to support the SAM (European Scientific Advice Mechanism).

The Cardiff Hub will focus specifically on developing relationships within North-Western Europe, including the Celtic nations, and with the wider Anglophone world, in a way that complements the other Academia Europaea hubs in Barcelona, Wroclaw and Bergen. It has an interest in the Life Sciences, at the same time as extending its work across all disciplines.
